Le Mans Entry: Ferrari 330 P4: COMPLETED

Well i cant believe it, i did it, i finished a model on deadline. admittedly i still have to mount the splitters on the sides of front fenders and the windshield wiper. i ordered a PE wiper last week and im hoping it comes in tommorrow. if it doesnt i will put the stock one on so these are not the final photo's cus its to dark to get good ones but this is the basic build. ill post outdoor pics tommorrow!!!!!

Yea!!!! so Phil you can add me to the completed list! im so happy. i cant wait to build my next kit!

Well done getting it finished on time, it is a little beauty, really looks authentic!
I'll add you to the completed list. That makes 7 completed entries in the curbside catgory and 10 in full detail.

This is good looking model of one of my favourite Ferraris.

Just one thing though:
#21 had no splitters in LM 1967, so don't mount them, if you already haven't. (Watch photo in link)

THE MOST beautiful Ferrari ever built IMHO. And a truly gorgeous build to do it justice.

Thanks alot everybody and thanks too for all the support! This contest has been a blast and id like to thank all the sponsors and AF for making it happen. Whats next years contest i want to start right now

NNIEMI: thanks for the pointer. I looked through the ref. pics you linked me to earlier this month, thanks , and it does seem that the practice 21 car did run splitters but in the actual race it did not wonder if they wrecked the body and grabbed one from another P? also the number font is different on the two 21's in those pics.

well thanks again.... just 20 some hours left till the big race!

its raining today so pics tommorrow morning. hope the weather clears up!

The other car is 330P3 from LM 1966. They look very similar, but if you compare headlights you see they are different.

It turned out very nice, I am only wondering who stoled who's idea (on real car of course) Ferrari from Alfa or vice versa?
