Cool new mtr's

Got my new goodyear's today and damn do these things look awesome, cant wait to try em out this weekend. Only thing is that there is about 5 ounces of lead on each wheel! Are these things that bad out of balance or are all brands like this?

larger tires can be a bitch to balance. especially mudders.
i have had to have my 32 bfg mt's rebalanced 3 times and they are still shaking at 60mph

My Dueler M/T's have a lot of weight on them too, but they are smooth as buttah! That's all I care!

I've got the MTR's also with about 4 ounces of weights on each tire. Had a shake at about 40 - 60 mph, but after getting them siped the problem went away.

A shop with a Hunter GSP 9700 can do wonders for hard-to-balance tires. My SSRs are MUCH better for it.

I've mentioned this on another thread, but here it is again.

Equal

Supposed to be very good for commercial/off-road tires, just have to make sure that you put in very dry air.

Yeah, even though with all the weights at least it rides smooth with no vibration even at high speeds. They could have put these weights on the inside of the wheel couldn't they?

It takes more weight to balance them if they are used on the inside of the wheel since they don't have as much influence from centrifugal force being closer to the center.
