i know that a lot of companies are combined, and sharing parts/technology now, but overall, i still consider honda a japanese/foreign company. the engine, transmission, along with many other parts are still engineered by people in japan.
i also still consider toyota/lexus a japanese company overall. of course there are exceptions, like the saab 9-2 example, but that only goes for that one car, not the whole saab name, and line up. |
