shit, for your first car your friends should think your cool for just having a car to take them places. I cant believe your worried about 'street cred' on your first car. And half the stuff you listed you wanted to do is going to take forever on 50$ per week. Maybe im confused but how would you be able to afford any S13 or MkIII/MKIV on that much money?

lol you dont get my drift, thats what id be getting if i got a supra and paying off the loan for it, the mods are for a s13 and most of my mates already have cars they wont look at me as cooler they will gossip about me then i will get the street cred (example: hey man have you seen lukes new car?? its awesome hes got a mad sil80 and its running 13s "o mad man bring him to the drags on wednesday)

ok got a new plan!!!!! this might be better.

buy an old 180sx (89' model for about 8 grand with a ca18det in it) buy a sr20de (non turbo) for about 1g and do an engine transplant, that way i have a 180sx and a 2 litre non turbo for under 10g!
is that the best idea ive come up with????

Or.....don't get 180SX. And your 15, are your parents ganna let you piss away your money on this bullshit? Buy a fucking beater, save up your money and get a car that doesn't suck when you can afford it or when you grow up, but I'm pretty sure the later won't happen for a while. Or, take the bus, like everyone else who's 15. And if your friends are not ganna give you "street cred" because you actually paid for your beater and their parents bought them nice cars, piss on'em, their assholes, at least you paid for yoru car.

umm 3 years 1 for learners and 2 for pervisional license and i just thought it would be good to see if i was going in way beyond my league or if its worth it. but i suppose it wasnt even worth posting in the nissan forum i just wanted some advice and another experienced point of view but i just got treeted like shit so i think i can say 240sx forum is full of dik heads.

Ok, if you want real advice then read and understand what I am going to say. You more than likely will not comprehend what I say until you are older.

1. You can not drive, you lack driving ability, PERIOD.
2. You more than likely will wreck the first car you own.
3. You will be doing numerous retarded things in this car.

Those 3 combined with even a semi-fast car will get you killed, or get your passanger killed.

yea i know exactly what your saying and its true but dont sr20det come stock with 100kw???? thats nothing compared to a v6 commodore or a non turbo supra.

1. i wouldnt say cannot i have a drive every now and then in autos and manuals but i admit im not a good driver and im likely to stuff a few gearboxes up as well.

yeah my first car was a '85 camry with like 240k miles on it and it was great. i loved that car. that car was a trooper. see the thing with having a car like that is you can drive around on baseball fields and inside high schools and through bushes and shit and it doesnt matter. also smashh up and over curbs and those parking blocker things, just basically a ton of abuse. i'd say get a beater like everyone is saying, and something thats 4 doors so you can drive people around.
