There where no air bubbles in my oil when i drained it. Or anyone else that i have known.

Yeah i was using lucas. I think it is designed for older motors that are on their last leg to prolong its life. It does not quiet down noisy lifters.

These tests I seen about Lucas dealt with heavy oils.I wonder if that is the reason for the foam and air bubbles.How much they where diluted would also play a key.

The oil is really not the concern. Heavy oil (15w40) will actually foam less than normal 5w30.

Air will get out of the lighter oil quicker than the heavier oil,right?

Guess so seeing light oil has a lower film strength.

But idling it won't get you the air that going down the highway will.
