Where is radiator drain plug?

I have a 97 Sable that has a leak in the plastic reservoir for the radiator. I've bought the new reservoir and now want to replace it and, while I'm at it drain and flush the radiator. My problem is I can't find the radiator drain plug/cockpit. Any suggestions?

Drain plug location

Hi there! I'm pretty sure that the drain plug is on the driver's side. Looking at my Sable there is an area that looks like a plug molded into the rad just behind the left-hand side of the transmission cooler. There is a plastic, white-coloured piece that faces downward (the plug, I suspect) and a little 'spout' that points toward the front of the car just infront and above that.
Hope this helps.

Removal
The radiator draincock is located near the bottom of the radiator.

CAUTION: Do not mix Standard (green) Coolant with Extended Life Coolant (orange). If mixing occurs, drain engine cooling system and refill with originally equipped coolant type. If this contamination occurs, the service change interval on Extended Life Coolant will be reduced from 6 years/150,000 miles to 3 years/30,000 miles.

Turn the radiator draincock counterclockwise with a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew. When the radiator draincock is unscrewed to the end of the threads, pull the stem from the radiator.
Remove the radiator draincock from the radiator by squeezing the sides together with a pair of needle nose pliers. Then pull the radiator draincock from the radiator.
Installation

Make sure O-ring is in groove on stem of radiator draincock.
Water-saturate radiator draincock in order to wet O-ring.
Push the radiator draincock into the radiator opening until it snaps into place.
Tighten the radiator draincock by turning clockwise to 1 Nm (8 inch lbs.).

You can,t find it because there is a plastic guard attached to the bumper under the radiator. The guard (shield) extends from car side to car side. Undo the nuts on the guard and it slips right out. You will see the stopcock on the driver,s side.
