$3500 3000gt
Yeah.. so a guy came into the dealership today and was just complaining about how his car runs like crap so i talked to him for a little while and he just has a boost leak.. not a big deal at all.. but he just kept going off about how he just want's to get rid of it.. so I asked him how much and he said oh i dont know.. like 3500 bucks!! It's a 91 vr-4 with 115,000 miles.. so I told him I would let him know this week end if i was going to get it.. its red paint looks good.. motor run's great.. Think I sould buy this for my second?

Re: $3500 3000gt
lets see.. 3500.. vr4 to drive while mine is down with the bigger upgrades and sell it for 5k.. so pocket 1500 for driving a car around.. sounds like a good deal to me!! haha I am worried my GF will want to take it though.. and not let me sell it.. haha she has a jetta vr6 and its just to slow for her..

Re: $3500 3000gt
my gfs (exs' too) all loved my Stealth... though I wouldn't trust any of them with that amount of power...
Edit: Jump on that deal.... I'd trade a kidney for it... I know I've got one around here somewhere

Re: $3500 3000gt
man, I hated the trans in the 3s... between the Stealth(FWD) and the Talon(FWD) I scattered a few of them...

Re: $3500 3000gt
Congrats on the purchase!
Not to hijack the thread but on the transmission point - my second gear grinds and I went to kormex and bought a blocking ring, had it replaced, and it still grinds. I'm sure their parts are great, I just replaced the wrong thing. Wish I was better at doing the actual "work" on my car.

Re: $3500 3000gt
+1 on the synchro... that's what keeps the gears lined up so they slide into place without grinding...
synchros aren't all that hard to replace
