nitrous question

so if i put nitrous in a non turbo 300zx assuming it runs good, has the correct parts to handle nitrous, (maybe tt fuel injectors? idk?) and didnt use a enormous shot. like meybe around 50-75. would there be much of a chance to hurt my engine or harm the car. cause i cant afford to blow an engine. thanks

you can do it but you always run the risk of destroying your motor. if anything goes wrong with nitrous the motor will detonate.

TT fuel injectors and the proper eprom will would definitely be wise and the the eprom is a must. this will assure that your ECU knows to send extra fuel to make up for the nitrous that you are putting in.

also, a big decision is using a wet or dry kit. wet kit is the safest as it mixes with the fuel resulting in a more even burn unlike dry which doesnt exactly mix with the fuel.

make sure your car is running at tip top condition before ever hitting with any nitrous.
if you cant take afford the consequences, in most cases, dont take the risk.

Re: nitrous question

eprom, free flowing exhaust and a good intake are a must. also after installing the nitrous get a good tune done by a quality shop. this will make sure the air fuel mixture is not running to rich or lean,

Re: nitrous question

If you have a wet-kit (which I'm assuming you do) and you are running a 50-75 shot... TT injectors are not required. Neither is an eprom (upgraded/chipped ECU). If you have a dry kit then it will completly opposite of what I just said. As long as your engine is in good running order and you use it moderately your engine will be fine...

Also as mentioned you should have intake and an upgraded exhaust at least to help the engine breath a little better with the extra stress...
