Need advice on a car to use for show
Hi to everyone who reads this
I've just discovered this sight by word of a friend. I'm a freelance Fine artist who is looking into getting into painting cars, it started out as just fixing my friend's cars when they screwed them up but I've found it fun. The thing I need help with is I am looking into buying a car and using it as an example or show-car you could say. I've fallen in love with imports so it won't be a domestic, allthough I've got respect for the older muscle cars. So if anyone had any suggestions feel welcome to mention, I was looking at something new either 03-04 and around 20 grand. I've heard Acura RSX and Honda Civic Si so far any others are welcome. |

SCion xB that's pretty much a rolling canvas.....jk. Im not sure how much a new eclipse is but it wouldn't be a bad car to paint. Better yet do a neon srt-4. I know it's a domestic, but they do look cool with nice paintjobs not to mention you'd have a nice car.

Re: Need advice on a car to use for show
I am a bit biased, but if it is just a showroom car, (not to be raced) get a 3000gt SL or base model (no turbos) they are pretty cheap (wont be new though, they stopped making them in 99) They have beautiful bodies.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical. |

honestly...
if it's for show, get whatever you want... why ask in the street racing forum? go for the scion, b/c it's a box, paint away... |

With your two choices stay away from the civic too many at the shows. As for the rsx I have not really seen too many probably only 1 or 2! Try getting something with a little class and body styling. In my own two cents I would go for a mini cooper!

Just a couple of cool domestics that will be original to start with. As far as an import goes...Mazda RX8 would be cool. For something really 'OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HELL THAT'S COOL!' kind of reaction you could always do something funky with a Toyota Prius. Hope that helps.
