info on Mazdaspeed 626 2.0 turbo swap into MX3

I am looking for some info on the Mazdaspeed 626 engine. The engine is out of a 2004 626, it's a 4cyl, comes with turbo, 5spd tranny, chip... and I am wondering how difficult it would be to put into an '94 MX3 (also 4cyl), or if it is even compatable because of the age difference. Also, if the engine is comparable to the BPT GTR? Any problems that come with the engine, or anyother reasons why it would not be a good idea?.......... thanks

Well as far as I know it has never been done.. so it is hard to say whether it bolts up or not... Jus check the mounts if they're located in the same place...

It might be possible... do you know what the motor code is for the MS 626?

BPT GTR's have about 210hp from what I hear, and are a lot easier to swap in I am sure... especially since it has been done many times before.
