1987 pathfinder
I need some help. My 1987 Pathfinder wont go above 2800 rpm's. It will start shaking and cutting out. I took it to the Nissan dealer and they said it was the 2 fuel injectors. I had the fuel injectors refurbished and the dealer said the test is still coming up the fuel injectors and they wont proceed until I put new Nissan injectors in the truck. The test is coming up the same according to Nissan as before I had the injectors done. The ones I had refurbished are orignal nissan injectors. Does anyone know what the problem may be. The shop that reburbished the injectors faxed the test stats to the dealer stating they are ok????

UPDATE:
I replaced the fuel pump and the o ring that was leaking out back. So far I have replaced the Injectors, the fuel pump, the coil, the fuel filter. $$$$$$$$$$ The Truck is STILL in SAFE MODE! QUESTIONS: What PSI should the fuel lines be at on this truck? The gauge I have only goes to 10 psi and this truck is definitely higher than that. I unhooked the battery when I worked on the truck, but do I have to do anything to clear the codes in the computer?? I am getting a Code 43. Any Ideas on what this could be? Thanks! |
