'93 pathfinder Shuts off while driving!!!

Hello, I have just started to experience this problem with my car. In the morning when I drive, the car works just fine, but as the more I drive it or after the car heats up, the car will just turn off while I'm driving. The DSC light and the service engine soon light have also come on during this time. The car usually only shuts off as I'm breaking or turning as I'm breaking. The funny thing is after I shuts off, the car starts right up again. In order for me to keep driving I must stay on the gas or the engine will shut off. If anyone knows what this might be, please let me know!!

Thanks!!

Re: '93 pathfinder Shuts off while driving!!!

It may be a MAF Sensor starting to go bad. My 96 Pathy did the same thing in the begining but over about 4 months it got worse. I found one at a salvage yard for about $30. New they are around $500. Hope this helps.
