heater controls only blowing on feet????

When i switch my heater conrols from feet to defrost it wont change.... it wont change to anything else. Please help, i dont know what to do.... I need defrost!

Okay, with your driver's door open, the easiest thing to do is kneel on the ground and look up under the dash, right above the accelerator pedal. There's a little rod that opens and closes the door that actuates the defrost that is probably off.

It should be easy to see, kind of right above the area between the accelerator pedal and the left side of the tranny hump.

I'll check that out today and see if thats the problem.... I ordered a new control switch cause thats what a tech buddy of mine told me to do.... He said if you have an aftermarket cd player, and a "hot" wire touches the top of the heater control panel where the circut board is exposed, it can ruin the heater control switch. But i will see if this idea works, and save myself some money if it does.

When you short your A/C unit out, it won't work at all from no angle. I shorted mines out while putting in my music system & had to replace my whole A/C control unit. Do this: If you have rear defrost on yours turn it on, if that button doesn't light up, YOUR A/C COTROL UNIT IS BLOWN. Hope this helps.
