bcause some people wanted a car with bigger back seats so they came out with the v6 accord and then the S2000 coverd the more sporty croud.

the Prelude was the Best Honda badged vehicle for sale in the US
it handled very well and a quick responsive engine made it pretty quick in the 1\4 14.9-15.2 i think it was a high end sports car....... more amenities, faster than a civic or Integra but quite as high end as the NSX not as quick as ITR but more sophisticated it wasn't a driver's car but u could still enjoy it 1997 was the debute of the 5th gen BB6 Prelude and it was the only other Honda car sold in the US to offer a Sport Shift mode the other one that offered SS was the nimble NSX just as they said " Everyone drives a Honda... just not a Prelude "
