Completed: Tamiya Ferrari F50 Full view
I have just finished this HTF model. Tamiya 24223 with Detail master carbon decals.
Let me show these picts, I hope that enjoy them. I apply carbon decals instead of those that the car brings originally. Stock decals was not used. I donīt like the color of stock decals. Any comment is welcome. |

very nice build. you did quite well taking pictures of the interior and the front. as it is hard to photograph clear peices.

Pretty cool.
I'd like to see one of these sprayed with Tamiya transparent paints to give it more depth. (judging from the mirrors, looks like yellow in this case)

Nice build! Always been curious to do a clear view view kit.
As a stylisitc point, it might look cool to CF the mirrors, instead of leaving them a nonexistant body color. Bit of a shame they weren't molded in clear, too.

Don't really "get" Tamiya's current clearview craze but you've done a fantastic job with this F50.
Nice! No need to wait anymore... You'd have to be a fan of Roger Waters to understand the last bit. |

Re: Completed: Tamiya Ferrari F50 Full view
That's really cool. If I ever did a clear model, I'd paint random body panels just for the hell of it...Like, pass. side front fender. But, I'm weird like that. Which is why I love the random yellow mirrors.
Be sure to post up progress on your next projects, I just got those two kits and I want some pointers before I dive in on 'em! (or, I'm just too lazy/busy to start...)

Very nice job! You had a hard time with the CF decals on the rear wheel arches didn't you? Non the less a superb piece of modeling

Re: Completed: Tamiya Ferrari F50 Full view
For as many of these transparent body kits that are produced it occurs to me that I've rarely seen any actually built that way. Nice job on it!
