Re: nothin better than smoking civics
Yes, do play nice. I usually allow expletives, but not outright insults. It's just 'Prelude S', saying S type makes it misleadingly sound like Type S.

Re: nothin better than smoking civics
Yes, we've established that putting money into a car changes the outcome. Give me the money you spent on those mods to your civic for me to put in my prelude and we will be back at square one, as we said, and you will be looking at my taillights. STOCK preludes beat STOCK civics. You put time and money into your car, and that's respectable, but you can't compare it to a stock car.

Go ahead, dump 5 grand into your sohc piece. I'll still run you stock. You do realize that you need to make your civic at least a high 14 second car to run against a stock h22 lude right? What are you running right now? Like a 17?

Re: nothin better than smoking civics
well if i had the $5 i would be able to spank any stock lude.
i will admit for the money the SI civics suck. as previously stated big brother= prelude little brother= civic but what happens when the little brother get a hold of steroids........................ |

Your Civic EX + 5 Grand = Maybe 14's. My Prelude VTEC + 5 Grand = Easy 13's and maybe a scratch at a high 12. a d16y8 is no comparison to an h22. Say they both go turbo. A boosted h22 could run circles around a boosted y8.

Re: nothin better than smoking civics
I'll smoke all you suka mcs!
no really i'm here to say not all civic owners are like this. My swapped 4th gen hatch will run with most lightly tuned h22 ludes. And ive dumped about 3K so 2K more and a ludwe gets 5K total yea i'm dead unless its a road corse. then its just cause thats my strong point lol |
