start up
change the oil and filter first. The old oil has a lot of acids and stuff from setting all those years. Try to locate a oil pump shaft for priming the oil system. You have to pull the distributor to use one of these.mark the rotor positon and pull the gear out. If you don't feel comfortable pulling the gear just pull the coil wire. This will enable you to spin the engine to get oil pressure up . Don't forget to pull the plugs and spray some penatrating or lubricating oil inside. Those rings and cylinders are going to be real dry by now. Hopefully they ran it out of gas, if notyou will have the residude leftover. When get ready to start it add fresh gas at the carb if you can.have fun don't get discouaged.
