Need help with Brake lights....

The brake lights on my sweet 1982 Delorean are out! I made sure the bulbs were still good, and I replaced the fuse, but they still don't work. The blinkers and back up lights still work, but I can't figure out why the brake lights won't come on. Any help is appreciated.

two culprits

See if you get voltage to the wire where the PC board connects to the wiring harness (wedge something against the brake pedal if you are doing this solo). If you get power at the harness but no to the bulbs, the PC board may need repair or replacement.

If you do not get voltage to the wiring harness, then take a look at the switch that is on the brake pedal assembly. This little switch gets used every time you push on the brakes... so after 20 years its probably all used up. Replace it, and clean the contacts while you're down there.
