te-37

hey hows it going everyone. i was just wondering how you can tell if a volk racing te-37 is real or not? Also how can you tell what the lug pattern is by looking at the wheel? on the back of the rim, it has a marking that says 4x100. but i've seen some te-37's for sale that had a picture of the marking that says 5x100 but they're listed as 5x114.3. the rims i bought were also listed as 4x114.3. does this marking on the back represent something else?? also looking at the same ad, there is a stamp on it that says "rays engineering", but the rims i bought do NOT have that. Please someone tell me that only a certain size got that stamp or something. I got 15x7 bronze te-37. please tell me a foolproof way to tell if they're fake or not. Also is there a marking for the offset? These rims are supposed to be 0 offset, but i have no idea if it is or not. someone please help!!!!

Don't you know, it's 10 hp for every sticker, 50 hp extra for every additional inch of rear spoiler behond stock height.

And why not?

I've always wonder why you guys of all people don't carry their wheels.. It broke my heart to not buy from you guys when I bought my Rays. I did buy my Kosei's and Kumho's from you though.

(if you guys ever have any openings PM me, I live in Fort Wayne )

We decided to carry SSR instead and we don't want to carry both as we'd rather carry a different line that fills another need. For example we just introduced the Kazera line of wheels, see them at:

not bad, but i prefer the wider spoke design of the Rays and SSR's I am tempted to pick up set of the gold ssr's for the WRX..

the Kazera's seem a little too ricey, atleast for my taste....

Re: te-37

That is not one of the SSR wheels we import into the U.S.. There are a few shops importing SSR wheels models from Japan that we do not sell. There are quite a few reasons we don't sell them or even bother importing them. If you look at these web sites you will even see disclaimers about finish etc... and how these models are inherently different from models sold by The Tire Rack. A lot of the 'domestic' wheels SSR makes for sale in Japan do not have any type of clear coat finish on the finish. We have to select models, sizes, and finishes that make sense for the U.S. market. We don't want to be selling items that are going to be a fitment problem. We also don't want to be selling wheels that are going to have finish issues for our customers (again, look at the disclaimers about warranty on these web sites). We wouldn't be in business very long if we did.
