Re: pics of a d16a6 ghetto dizzy on vtec head???
listen. take your d16a6 distributor and stick it in the slot in the cam of the z6 head. just as a base setting, turn the distributor towards the firewall until the top bolt hole on the head for the distributor is covered up by the front of the d16a6 distributor. get a timing light and check your ignition timing. set it at 16 BTDC (the middle mark). where the distributor is sitting is where it needs to be. use a little imagination and figure it out for yourself how to cut the distributor to get it to fit where the timing is correct.

you'll need to remove the parts outlined in black. the distributor should be rotated towards the firewall so that the top bolt is barely holding onto the distributor. |

Re: pics of a d16a6 ghetto dizzy on vtec head???
i have this swap. it works but only back whole lines up. i took a piece of flat aluminum stalk about 3.5 to 4 inches long and drilled a whole in one ened then using the back whole on the dizzy loosely bolt in then cross over the next arm on the base of the dizzy and drill another whole in the stalk then bolt in the top of dizzy. not pretty but it works till u have the money to do it rite
