First Time Buyer

Hi, I'm a first time buyer looking to purchase a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S (without additional options) by year end. I've heard that this is one of the best times to get a great deal. I've done some research online and called up a few dealers in the Chicago suburb area and was told that they could get me one for apprx. $21,300 including EVERYTHING (tax, license, destination, etc.). This is after some cashback rebate. They also say that with my credit score, I should qualify for either 0% APR for 36 months or 0.9% to 1.9% APR for up to 60 months. I think I maybe able to negotiate this even lower, but I have no idea by how much. Would anyone be able to give me some insights? Thanks much.

Talking Re: First Time Buyer

that price sounds about right. i work at the nissan plant in smyrna TN where we make those cars. they are better than some of the earlyer models. depending on the dealer, ther might be a chance of getting a better deal. that car was made in TN or our plant in Canton MS.
