Cool Fastest speed?

What's the fastest you've gone in your beamer? Just curious, here's your chance to boast!

1992 535i 240 km/h (took awhile to get there I'll admit).

Talking Re: Fastest speed?

I got my '88 535is up to 145mph it did take a minute to get there but i wasn't going from a standstill so wasn't really using the low end torque, and then there was a minivan and a semi-infront of me...

Re: Fastest speed?

Dude with 1994 540i no offense but i find that 0-60 time very difficult to believe i would have to see it to believe it. And if you really did run that with that car what is powering it a turbine engine from a Boeing 747?

Re: Fastest speed?

Had my 2004 530i to 135 but for safety reasons (cars in front coming up fast) shut it down. I could tell it had more in it, not sure of actual distance, started from 55, but I would guess it took less than a mile to hit that speed
