2000 Cirrus, Steam comming from behind the block
I haven't actually seen this, my sister called me and told me the symptoms, but all I really got from here was that somewhere behing the block and near the steering box there is steam, not smoke, comming out? ANyone have any ideas. I told her to turn her heater on to see if it makes it worse but it dosent, also it stops when she turns the car off. Thanx for any info.

Re: 2000 Cirrus, Steam comming from behind the block
I had the same problem a couple of years ago. There is a small a/c hose that is behind the block next to the fire wall. It only steamed when the a/c was on. If this is the problem, you will have to take it to a dealer to get it replace. There is no way to unhook yourself.
