the best time i can find for a stock prelude is 14.8
the reason i didnt bring te prelude up is who it was aimed at, a 26k car isnt aimed at college kids that want performance and good milage

either way you have a 26k car that is only .7 ahead of an escort or .2 ahead of an escort with bolt-ons. Face it. Honda is over priced and as of late a lot of american cars are becoming on par with foreign cars since Mazda=ford, toyota=chevy and benz/eclipse=dodge

look at the market in 2003:

18k SVTfocus 15.3

Then there is honda: 19k Civic Si 15.7 2nd highest cost yet tie for last in performance.
Even in magazine shoot outs Si lost to the SVT in all categories

I can get a honda used for under 13k that lasts longer than your car, for instance a gsr... or even a type r for that matter, that would kick your car in the nuts... and it will last longer... and it would be cheaper... so more money for mods. Americans are not on par for quality whatsoever.... mazda doesnt equal ford you moron...because a company owns 30% of their stock... it doesnt mean they own the whole dang company... and the parts only go one directional for the most part... hmmm a geo prizm has a corolla engine, but does a corolla have a geo engine...? probes have a ton of mazdas parts in them, but my friends mx6 has a freaking ford maf.... thats all ive seen so far. How bout a pontiac vibe? Did toyota use a pontiac engine in the matrix? NO! the other way around. The only one that may work for is mitsubishi, americans steal jap quality because we have dont have the quality. Who buys a car new that is in college? All the college kids i know and i are dirt poor.... if you buy a used honda for 13k and put 10k in upgrades i would easily get over 320 whp... if you put 10k into a freaking Geo prizm you could get 320 whp... you can buy integras with 320 whp for 12k... and tell you what... THEY WILL LAST LONGER!!! Our family has owned a number of poor excuses for cars (ford) and they never hold up while we have cars like the 94 camry with 250k miles on it and still runs honey smooth. Your an idiot of you think that because they own part of their stock the quality is the same... why do they buy their stock... to get their parts... thats a simple one.

jeez...it's like freakin world war 2 in here. Escorts aren't all that bad. They may look like crap, but if they deliver, what the heck, why not? I know my car is crap, but it's alot faster than any of the other ricer crap that comes with living in southern california. I live in F&F central, where everyone buys a 91 civic dx, paints it yellow, and expects it to run 13s. problem is, most of them don't know what they are running 13s on, they think it's a rim size. lol. All cars have potential, except those gay electric cars, I haaaaaaate them. but that's another topic.

ok, did anyone look at what I wrote after i said I beat him? It was my friend, we were just screwing around down a street going from stop sign to stop sign, and he screwed up! I thought it would be funny to add that one little thing in there, cause if you look at my killed by list, you'll see that he did smoke me, like he should have the first time....before you come to the table and throw accusations out, make sure you know the whole story.

and as far as bringing up the dead post, I haven't been on in a while, and I wanted to put my two cents in. Just cause I say something doesn't mean you have to respond, it's not that big a deal. You act like it's gonna make the entire site crash just because I wanted to say something

well captain brilliant i did read that, and if he screwed up one time, you didnt beat him... hes not a "kill" as much as youd like to think so. If go kick butterbean in the nuts while hes sleeping, or hung over... it doesnt mean i won a "fight" against him. Considering a Celica Gt does around 16 seconds in the quarter, and a BMW 325 does around 15.5-16 as well, I would not be too suprised to see someone who knows how to drive spank either of those cars. Im not saying it happened, but it is very possible.
