Grand Prix or Camaro

Im kinda havin a problem. Im 16 years old and I have a 1969 Camaro X11 car with factory A/C, fold down rear seat, tinted glass and 255 hp 350 with a 2 speed powerglide automatic and 63,000 original miles and the body 99% rust free. As of right now the car is sittin in a garage until I get the $$$ to fix it which is about 4 or 5 grand I cant do nethin with it. I was thinkin about selling the car for $10,000 which is what someone offered me for it and buying a 1998 Grand Prix GTP Daytona 500 Pace Car Replica for $5,000. I really dont wanna sell the Camaro but it's gonna sit for another year or so till I can even start on it. I like the Grand Prix because it's rare with only 1500 made and it probably will be worth suttin in the future and i will still have $$$ left over for insurance and everything else I was wonderin wut you guys think I should do. Thanks for the help.

Re: Grand Prix or Camaro

I decided to keep my Camaro because I went and looked at it sitting in the garage and just saw so much potential in it. It is just a bad ass car. I plan on taking it out of the garage within the next week and me and my dad are going to try to get it running. No other 16 year old around has a 69 Camaro. I bought a 93 Corolla LE for $700 which I will drive for a year or so and if i like probably start to mod it a little bit. I think I made the right decision.

Re: Grand Prix or Camaro

The Camaro is not in the best of shape but all it need is rear quarter skins, a good paint job, two rear floorpans, a carpet and a good motor. Right now it has a 400 small block but it's kinda tired so I might put the original 350 in it or build up another 400.
