Ok. When I get out in the garage working on it again ill see which ones i do have.
Hey, the rods that were ok, do they need to be re conditioned at the shop or would they be ok?

Ok, pistons, there is like a little ring that holds the wrist pins in on each side, just want to make positive, i pop these off and use a socket to knock the wrist pin out?

That will work. Don't lose or damage the pin though. And remember the direction that they came out. The pistons have to be connected to the rod and to the crank the same way. I forget the name of why, but I believe it has to do with the rotation, keeps everything from falling out/apart.

I doubt they do, never heard of anyone returning any. I like to keep broken parts displayed on the mantel. Problem now is i am running out of space bc i have so many broken parts

I cant seem to find the same rods as mine...like the ones I look at on ebay, dont quite look like mine...or maybe they do and I just can't tell. Does eagle only make ONE kind of rod for the 420a?

Hey, I scrubed the pistons clean, except for a teeny bit of discoloring on the underside of the pistons that I cant really get to good enough, but just in the corners, its clean as hell though. Theres somehting that stands out to me and I wanted to make sure, on the piston skirts, there is no damage, no nicks or gauges or anything physically wrong with them at all, but on like 2 of them there is like a discoloration...like wear i guess...is this bad? or normal?
