Religion threads

Hey everyone,

As I'm sure everyone realizes, religion is a very touchy topic. Threads on religion almost always end up as heated flame wars, so something needed to be done.

Remember - this applies to those of all beliefs, INCLUDING Atheism/Evolutionism - you're not exempt from the rules "because it's 'science'"

1. If you feel like discussing religion, please ensure that it's in this (Philosophizing) forum. This is still Automotive Forums, and AF's other forums are not suited to religious and philosophical talk.

2. Discussing religion is fine, but do so in a cool-headed, civilized manner. Flames will only result in deleted posts and closed threads.

3. Remember that no one can ever know who's right until one dies. It's perfectly fine to be convinced of your belief, but remember that other people aren't. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and belief, and deserves the same amount of respect as everyone else.

Through experience I've noted that never once has someone been convinced to believe in another system through simple forum talk - just remember that you're never going to convince that person to believe what you believe, and they will never convince you to believe what they believe, so there is no point fighting about it

Flames, including accusations (such as bigotry and idiocy), will NOT be tolerated.

Keep it clean.

Thanks
