A bunch of Electrical problems and can't program Fob

I bought a 2005 Venture a few weeks ago with 191,00 kms or around 120,000 miles. Overall the Van runs nice, the gas mileage sucks. Here are a bunch of electrical problems. I think they are all related to ???

Before I start please note "NO FUSES ARE BLOWN

1) The cooling fans will not come on unless the AC is on, temp sensor, and the Stat are ok, Rad Fans are ok, the rad cap and coolant is good

2) The Right "day time running light" is not working, note the right turn signal works and yes I did change bulb no difference

3) When I open the door the interior lights do not come-on But I can turn them on with the interior switch (no door switch for door to push-on) I guess the switches are gone.

4) I bought a new Key-fob and I tried to program and guess what? I can not get the chime to chime when I open the door to start the program

5) If I do not put on my seat-belt no crazy chime

To me it seems it may be a sick BCM, Any thoughts. I think I bought a lemon here. Thank god I got it cheap

Re: A bunch of Electrical problems and can't program Fob

Problem is, since you just bought the vehicle, you don't know it's history....

1. cooling fans and radiator fans are the same thing...

2. could be bad socket or wiring...

3. Switch is in the latch assembly....

4. Because of #3....

5. Circuit has nothing to do with the other four......circuit has to be checked out....

The latch assembly, is the latch that holds the door closed and lock/unlocks the door......the switch is built into it.....unfortunately, only a scan tool can give you a definitive answer if it is working or not....

Re: A bunch of Electrical problems and can't program Fob

Ok I did repair the interior lights so now when the door opens the lights do come on and off as they should. I still can not program the fob I do not hear the beep when I open and close the door to start the programing
