Question jdm itr header ??

i plan on gettiing the jdm itr header for my si, but someone was telling me that i would have to straight pipe it cuz the collector is to big for the cat. is there an alternate route i can take instead of a loud straight pipe??

I haven't heard about this problem, but a muffler shop shouldn't have too much trouble rigging up some custom piping if necessary to make the header fit with a stock cat. That, or you can use custom piping to move the cat further back. This is not as expensive to do as you might think.

The JDM ITR header is a 4-1 and uses i think a 2inch collector.
It will not bolt up to your standard USDM Si cat and exhasut system.
However there are plenty of aftermarket cats that will fit, or else as JD said any good exhasut shop should be able to make up something for you.

JDM ITR header has a 2.5" collector...I would get a carsound cat as well to maximize performance....keeping the stock cat will bottleneck the flow
