I bought a JDM (Japan Domestic Market (made in Japan)) EJ20t. On that store they also had an EJ20tt. For those of you that dont know the t and the end of the engine code stands for turbo. The tt believe it or not stands for twin turbo. I dont know if the EJ20tt came in the Impreza but I do know that the EJ20t did. I asked if there was a power difference between these two engines expecting a yes for answer but wanted to see how much. They said the EJ20tt produced 280hp. I ended up getting the single turbo due to price.
I do believe that one guy is wrong in saying that centrifugal superchargers are belt diven turbos, but I guess its a way you would see it explained in idiots giude to centrifugal superchargers.
