Street legal BMW with 4 cyl M3 motor does 8,58 sec on 1/4 mile
The fastest street legal 4 cyl in Europe is an 1000hp BMW 2002 from Finland, that got an M3 engine (s14) with turbo. That car have done 8,48 sec@1/4 mile.
