Compare these cars and tell me which is better

I'm buying a used car for the first time and need help deciding which one. It's between a 2000 Mercedes Mystique, a 2000 Volvo S80 and a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2003 Buick Sedan.

I'm only going to be using this car for a few months and primarily in rural and suburban areas. I don't care about comfort (AC, aesthetics, radio, etc). I just need a car that won't break down until the end of February.

Since I've never bought a car before, I am afraid of getting screwed over by the dealership so please give me your best, most honest advice here. Thank you!
