gas mileage
i have a 82 datsun with a 2.2 and i am getting bad gas mileage so far iv used 1/2 tank and iv drove 125 miles it should get better gas mileage than that shouldnt it i think the carb might need rebuilding because if i dont choke it about half way it will buck and jump while driving down the road what do you guys think

if that truck has a 12 gallon gas tank .
you are getting a little over 20 miles to the gallon. it could be a little better but that truck has a very low gear ratio in the rear end and id it is an automatic it only has three gears .none of which is a overdrive.
