I think that the spyder is one of the best looking convertibles ever made but i'd have to go with the modena.

With the exception of the 550 Barchetta, I'll almost always choose a hard top over a convertible. I'll go with the Modena. But, of course, if someone gave me a Spyder, I can't say that I would complain.

If I had to choose, then the Modena.

The spider, I think all of you are going by looks, not the experance of a convertable.

A more rigid chasis with the Modena. And a serious enthusiast knows that hardtops almost always means better performance. Not that the Spyder is a slouch, far from it. But for this kind of money, I wouldn't want to have to worry about replacing a top or getting cold in the winter.

Actually, I said that the spider is the best looking convertible. I would go with the Modena for the sake of rigidity, and keeping weight down.
If you truly want an amazing convertible experience, try the 550 Barchetta. best experience of my life.

It just snowed this week and will continue to do so for the rest of the week, I think the Barchetta/288/Miura are locked up until slightly better weater arrives. Trust me, he will still drive them through the winter though. He has a Defender 110 for really nasty weather.
