240sx/se vs. Prelude vs. 3000GT!
Hey guys, at the moment I own a 2003 Ford Taurus SES with like 69,000 miles on it. It's a great car, but I really want something completely different and more fun.
I've been doing quite a bit of car searching and research and would really like a nice little 'tuner'. The cars that i'd like to compare are the 1996 Nissan 240sx/se with 97k miles on it, a 2001 Honda Prelude with 115k miles, and a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 (I'm pretty sure). All the cars are manual and $7k or under. I want something practical but very fun with some power, and it needs to be reliable, as it will be my day-to-day car as well! I've heard some great things about the 240sx/se, but the only concern of mine is that it is RWD and will not be able to deal with some icy conditions, due to little weight in the rear. Other than that, if you all could give me some pros and cons to all three, your personal preference, and what would be the best deal and why, that would be great! Thank you.
