I'm going to get the track model, i figure the price difference between the performance and track is much less than I'd have to pay for nice alloys and the ~3k brembo kit

Roadster version!
If I want a coupe, I would get the Performance model and invest the difference $3K5 on aftermarket parts, as opposed to get the track version. Performance model has 18" wheels also, just a few pounds heavier. Unless you are planning to SC the Z or you are a track person, the brembo brakes wont be necessary. |

For a true sports car all you need is the base model. The other modelst have inconsequential bells and whistles for street driving.

There is no faster model, each model has the same engine and horsepower. The differences are brakes, suspension, bells and whistles.

Yeh i know that but i thought that the weight of them varied slightly making one faster. And i thought the track modle was lightest ?
And which modles can you check the tire pressure from inside your vehicle ? |

The difference between the two wheels are only 18 lbs. that's nothing unless you are a hardcore racer.

I think that the tire presssure thing is cool, i hear there is also a 0-60 timer inside the Z is this true?
And yeh i guess 18 pounds doesn't make that big a deal. |

touring model
i would like to purchase the touring model w/ 6spd, the 6spd version comes w/ everything of the touring model plus the features of the performance model... and i can just add brembo brakes later... but i dont' really need the teh bose sound system weighing me down considering it's only 240 watts not worth it...
