2001 Honda Civic Springs weird sound-HELP!!!!
I WANT MY STOCK SPRINGS BACK. I have R1 Coilovers on my 2001 Civic Sedan, I hate them. First, I think the rubber washer thing has worn off between the ends of the springs so they rub and make this unbarable noise. Anyone know of anyone or anyplace I can get some stock springs for my 2001 Civic Sedan cheap? Thanks

junkyard would be the first place i would look. Don't be deterred from sleeve type coilovers. The R1's are really cheap pieces of shit. Try a set of Skunk2 or Ground Controls sleeves. I promise you'll like them a whole lot better.

You get what you pay for when it comes to suspension . What did you do with your original springs? Why not go with some thing from H&R, Eibach, or Neuspeed springs. You can't expect a good ride or increased handling without upgrading the struts.
H&R sports(springs) are only $156 from www.tirerack.com or the Cup kit for $606 including shocks & springs |
