Peugeot 205 T16
It is time to get back to my true roots of model building. That means a classic rally car.
This time it's the Peugeot 205t16. This is the first of my 2 kits, I am building this one as per the box shows. My second one I am thinking to turn into a tarmac edition of the 86 machine. The kit is in remarkable condition and will hopefully look great displayed alongside the 206 kits I have built. Shall crack into the building part tonight! Any reference photos of the cockpit and engine bay etc would be much appreciated. I want to add a little detail here and there where possible.

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
I'll be watching. I really like the car and the kit. I've built it a couple of times and will probably do so again sometime.

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
Super choice !!
if you're not in a hurry with references pics I'll post some pics here in the coming days or send some to you (feel free to contact me, PM or email) as there are a few spécifications to know about MC version to be accurate if it's your aim. Also 86 version. I have a lot of reference pics but due to hard disk storage issues I have to sort them all out !! And I'm on business trip till friday. |

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
Thanks everyone, and Rallymaster if you would like to shoot up a few photos here which you feel are critical to a build go for gold
Possibly sometime down the track someone else will be looking for them as well so anything good that you have is much appreciated. I didn't realise there is a difference between the Monte and Acropolis versions...I will be building the Vatanen edition so the #2 Monte Carlo car. I just mainly need to source a rear wing for the second kitset (was searching for one off the Heller kit) and the front wings I can scratch build. I want to build a gravel spec AWA Clarion Rally New Zealand Evo II so not needing the tarmac wheels. The rear undertray I am using from a busted Dakar edition 405. If anyone happens to know of a rear wing sitting surplus please let me know! Cheers WRCfan

I probably have a unused heller rear wing. best would be Renaissance TK as evo2 has different engine but it costs some money ! A few ref before I post my pics http://t16.celeonet.fr/rs/autos/205/Album/album_205.htm |

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
Wow if you happen to have an unused Heller kit with the few bits to build an Evo 2 would be superb. Just let me know what you would like for the said pieces if you are willing to part with them.
It's without a doubt my favourite group B car so would love to be able to build an Evo 1 & 2 to go together in the cabinet Those photos are amazing as well! Makes me want to build right now haha.

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
Ahh that is true! Haha. Would end up being roughly the same the Renaissance transkit. Haha. Will be building this one up at an Evo 1 so there is some time to see if anything surfaces, however I may well take you up on that kit later should nothing else come to fruition as I am wanting to do a gravel version rather than a tarmac one

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
Hello,
I have sorted out part of my references and created a gallery which version would you build on the Evo1 ? Acropolis or Monte Carlo ? there are some different spécifications. Here is the link to my gallery 205T16's file, feel free to take a look at it and use what you think usefull. http://s1138.photobucket.com/user/pc...?sort=3&page=1 I will update it according to your questions and asks regarding the precise version. |

Re: Peugeot 205 T16
PS: I still have to take a look at my heller kit, but for sure I have a few usefull parts in it.
Won't be a Renaissance TK but will help better than nothing would |
