1G GSX/TSI AWD are pretty reliable cars, but if you want the strongest stock then get a '92-'94 as they have the 4bolt rear and better overall driveline than the '89-'91s. They also look better IMHO. I'm looking at getting one myself if I can't find a decent Celica GT4 All Trac. Body kit wise you're kinda out of luck as there aren't many out there and the ones that are tend to be either real plain or really ricey looking. I found a bad ass Evo IV-esque kit, but it's a custom one off and would run about $2500 or so to replicate...plus add paint and whatnot...you get the picture. Anyway, check over at www.dsmtalk.com and see what they say. There's a whole section dedicated to body mods, but most of the questions are about those goddamn "Altezza" taillights LoL The 1G's are pretty easy to mod too and relatively cheap to get parts for. You can buy a 1G GSX/TSI AWD for as little as $2k from what I've found, but you get what you pay for. They're relatively complicated cars compared to the non turbo fwd versions so expect to look for a while for a good one. I found one near me with low mileage for a good price, but the guy decided not to sell it so I'm stuck still looking. Good luck
