Misfire! 😡 TSB PI-0220
Looking for advice and estimated repair cost for TSB in the title (NHTSA #10036490. I just bought a 2009 enclave a few months back with 98K miles on it. Test driving it I did not use the cruise. After buying I noticed what I thought was a shifting problem while using cruise. Engine would hesitate on slight inclines until it would shift and then the RPMS would come up and symptoms disappear until next hill.
Well two weeks ago the wife tells me the check engine light was on. A scan showed P0303- misfire in CYL 3. After searching I find that there is a TSB concerning this. Anyone done the repair themselves? If so, what does it entail. If you've taken to a shop, what was the cost? Thanks for the help!

Re: Misfire! 😡 TSB PI-0220
The only TSB I could find, happens on a deceleration....
If that is not the case, then you handle it as a misfire for cylinder #3....checking for spark, compression, and injector diagnosis..... |

This seems to happen when it needs to accelerate. Usually happens on a slight incline. Thinking I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it in to have it checked out.

Re: Misfire! 😡 TSB PI-0220
Sorry took so long to reply. Super busy week. And might I say,WOW THE DEALER WANTED CRAZY MONEY TO FIX! Service records show that CYL 2 coil was replaced at 34,000 miles and CYL 1 was done at 77,000 miles. The Engine harness fix done at 90,000. My car is at 100,820 miles and now CYL 3 coil needs replaced along with the plug according to dealer($330). They also suggested I change the other 5 plugs (another $370) I always do plugs as sets, not individuals. Here is my question tho...should I just replace all 6 coils as well? I can get a GREAT deal on a set of six online. I'm Hoping that would eliminate any more issues with coils failing one at a time. Any extra input/advice from you all would really be appreciated.
