Hey! Speak up all you girls. Just curious to see how many are out there. These nicks sometimes make it hard to tell if people are guys or girls.

Good luck ladies getting any decent responses. I'm just a guy from Iowa and find that most guys that post in these forums are 13-29 yrs. old and have something to prove about themselves....
namely their cars! Every once in awhile a meet some other sutomotive people that know something about vehicles other than what the latest road & Track or HotRod magazine published. Get the word out. I find it interesting to see what the ladies think about their rides. Being a car show and racing event participant I meet a few ladies that know and love their rides. (It's a bummer being a guy that just had my best lap time beatin by .22 seconds by some 29 year old gal) But she drove a great 944 that her husband had set up nicely! My old 924 just didn't have it. Anyway...don't let the bolt's-for-brains guys hassle ya. I'll be checking out this forum every once in awhile to see what you ladies have to say... I made a similar inqury on C & D. There are a few females there, but they like to keep it quiet because of:
A) getting "hit" on once their identity is discovered B) they tend to get discredited once their gender is revealed. I disagree with both aspects. There is a girl at C & D (Racert) that knows her stuff. She is very impressive. There are a couple others there too, but they don't post very often. Welcome ladies, you have my respect. |

I agree, it would be nice if the ladies were more active here. It just seems like they don't want to bother. At least most of them, there are some that post a little.

I have no problem letting other members know that I'm female. We are all here for the same reason--to learn and to help others learn.
