what side does the larger cooling fan mount on a 1997 dodge neon?

what side of the radiator does the larger cooling fan mount on the passanger side or the driver side?

You may have a different engine. Mine has the SOHC motor. My cooling fans looked to be the same size. But the connector from the car's wiring harness went to the fan that was on the passengers side. The fan in front of the driver got its electric power from a connector that was on the other fan.

I just went and looked under the hood. The fan in front of the driver has a motor that sticks back further from the radiator. The fan in front of the passenger is 'flatter', otherwise the motor would run against the lower radiator hose.
