Someone gave me a 1/18th scale model

Wow. I can't believe it. A library patron just gave me 1/18th scale Maisto silver McLaren F1. It was all such a coincidence that I still can't believe it really happend. I was sitting at checkout and talking to a co-worker. I was showing her pics of the LM and she was amazed by it, so she told me to show the pictures to the patron in front of me. I didn't want to bother considering not many people know the F1. Anywho, I showed him the pics. Lo and behold, he recognized it immediately. It turns out he's into cars. Apparently he realized how much I like the F1 because a few days later he told me he had a 1/18th scale model and that he'd give it to me if I wanted it. And ofcourse since I did, he dropped it off and now I have my first and only scale model of a McLaren F1. . I am very very happy. Now if only someone would give me an actual F1...........

Aren't you the same guy who got a copy of Driving Ambition from the library as well?

If so, I think I need to start hanging out at the library a bit more often.

I am the same guy, but I didn't get driving ambition. I got another book with the mclaren on the cover. Here's my other story from the library: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...8&postcount=15

Apart from the job itself, I am really liking the McLaren coincidences happening at this library. First the book with the pic of the Mac, then the 1:18 scale model, next who knows, maybe an actual McLaren. Okay probably not .
