Question '97 Chevy S-10 Flashing Headlight Problem

Ok, so this started last winter but stopped during the summer then started happening again this winter. I turn on my headlights then after like 10 minutes or so they start flashing on and off, I shut them off for 2 or 3 minute turn them back on they work for about 5 minutes then start flashing back and forth again, not sure if I should change the switch or if its a relay or fuse.

Anyway would love to fix this myself if possible, so advice or a fix would help out. Thank you.

Which type of head lights?
Most head light switches have a built in circuit breaker.
Go to head light switch wiring plugin and check for voltage coming out of it.
Does it do it on both low and high beam?
Let us know what you find there.
