marvel mystery oil
i've been hearing about putting MMO in the engine oil to cure piston slap or lifter noise. does this really work? if so, how much to add, and how long to run it, or add it? my 02 yukon xl has about 82,000 miles and has a tick or knock at start up, this seems to be very common. i was going to add Lucas Oil Stabilazer at the next oil change, or should i go with MMO? also MMO in the gas tank... improved MPG...really? any body out there use it before? i have seen some posts about this but nothing recent, any info would be helpful. thanks.

Re: marvel mystery oil
Hey I have used the lucas for a long time and happy with it. I got 210000 miles out of the last motor. It made the lifters quiet down also. Thats just my thoughts. Good luck
