Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Interior matches #073 right down to the golden E-brake handle - I'll keep my vote with #073.
Awesome pieces of history you have there (again) sir. >8^) ER |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Interesting. I've heard rumors of cars built after the "official" run but had seen no proof. Would you mind posting the pics in the other thread so that this one doesn't get off topic too much
Thanks Chris |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
I have posted the other pics in Eurosport factory visit thread.
Chris, The other green car in the pic Erik posted, is a stock road car. Check the wheels, wheel arch flares and no front splitter. |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Yes i know, but i'm sure its possible to "un-fit" a HD kit? Eitherway, its not Erik's car so it doesn't matter

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Erik just pointed out to me that the Dawes car was probably 017:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=446858 Since this colour is close to burgundy, i think we can assume this was the car he crashed |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Just checked 017 (M970 GGP) on the DVLA web site,
Interesting the car has not been scrapped, as no destruction certificate has been issued. Also, has not been taxed since feb 2000!! The vehicle details for M970 GGP are: Date of Liability 01 02 2000 Date of First Registration 29 09 1994 Year of Manufacture 1994 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 6064CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour RED Vehicle Type Approval The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
I know you guys hate it when i do this but trust me, 017 is no more. I can't say anymore. You can trust me or not, i don't really care but don't ask for proof because i won't give it. I was relayed the information privatley and do not want to post any more info without asking him first.
Hope you understand |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Yes Chris,
You are correct. Just checked two cars that I have previously scrapped. Guess what, they are still listed on the DVLA web site (these cars were scrapped years ago) So much for UK goverment department efficiency!! At least we can determine when the car was last taxed. |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
Cabrio 92,
Do not read to much into the DVLA info, it is only correct up to the 01 02 2004 and has not been updated since. If the info was up to date, it will show an export marker on it. Type in K6 MCL (XP4) and K4 MCL (003) it shows they have been exported. |

Re: Recap of English F1 Fleet
OK OK
The best is to cross DVLA and RAC infos ? And we see both grey and blue ; also, the car was sold on september. It is to confirm it was #011. I have seen no F1 with F1 MAC plate... |
