The GTR is #23R based on this section of the description:
"97´ FIA GT Championship mit Team BMW Motorsport. Fina Logos / Sponsoring. Fahrer Kox / Ravaglia." #23R was the GTR that Kox & Ravaglia drove in that series. They took GTR #26R to the '97 24Hrs of LeMans race with Eric Helary, but there is no mention of that race in the description of the car and #23R did not compete at the '97 24Hrs race at all. If the description of the road car is correct, then that is the same car we thought was the AMG Green Velvet car. Several of the interior details such as the green shifter and e-brake handle match that car exactly. Also, they both have the tiny front license plate holder which isn't seen on very many other F1's. Thanks for the link Maarten!! >8^) ER |

it says first registered 7/1996
so it's a 1996 car therefor it can only be 051 and it looks a lot like xp5 anyway so the colour is dark green metallic not amg green velvet or anything else EDIT: it's overpriced very much i reckon and about the christies car the last car that mclaren wanted to sell themselves was #011 that went through christies now they want to sell another car #065 just my 2 cents |
