As far as my notes show, all long tail monocoques start life as standard F1 chassis mould forms, with cut and shut bonded sections that turn them into longtails, if you look very closely at a longtail GTR you can see the bonding join for the rear wing/fender section. The roof scoop is also another section bonded on. All longtail GTR,s have a different carbon and layup spec to the road version, read that as stiffer/lighter.

Due to a last minute cancellation I have been able to arrange a certain green longtail to be put on show. Later this week it is coming out of Heritage into a truck bound for Europe That means 2 gaps in our collection this week as XP5 is also leaving tomorrow to go in display in Switzerland!

XPGT will be on show here should anyone wish to go and see it:

I will also have some more exciting news on the Heritage cars later this month, it's all kicking off for McLaren's 50th
Thank you for arranging the display of XPGT in Brussels! It was great to finally see my first F1 in real live!
Can you tell of XP5 is still on (public) diplay in Swizerland? I would love to drive 800 km for it to see my second chassis in one week!

Tia,
Martijn
