Re: Obx Camshafts????

distributor. loosen the 3 12mm bolts holding it to the head, and rotate it to where you want it, tighten them.

cam gear(never done it though, im assuming this will work) take off valve cover unless its cut to get to it. loosen the nuts/bolts holding the inner/outer parts together and put a wrench on the bolt holding the inner part to the cam and turn the cam either direction depending on which way you wanna go and then while keeping it where you want it with one hand, snug a couple of the outer bolts youd loosend previously to hold it where you want it and then torque all the bolts holding inner/outer parts together to spec.

Re: Obx Camshafts????

well if retarding makes it slow in one area and advancing makes it slow in another, keep it stock. there isnt really a reason to change it.

Re: Obx Camshafts????

sounds like a bad ground. usually if u have a problem arise after doing/changing something, that something u did is exactly wuts causing it. undo it, and everything should be back to normal.

Re: Obx Camshafts????

HEY! Read this, in an add for the cam!

"

OBX stage 1 camshaft for the D16Z6 engine. This will fit all 92-95 Civic EX, SI models. This will not fit the D16Y8 unless you modify the cylinder head to allow for lobe clearance.

Lift/Duration: IN. 0470, 240; EX. 0.445, 240 Notes: Valvetrain upgrade recommended"
