Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
The Veyron is hauling the equivalent of six 274 lbs. guys around compared to the F1. Mmmmm... Wow. Peloton, this brings up a question in regards to the recent event in Italy: Do you recall offhand what the fuel consumption was like? I'm guessing if a similar trip were conducted with Veyron, there would be very frequent gas stops.

Was not really monitoring that and my offer to pay for a tank was denied.

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
The Franschhoek Motor Museum have finally added a page for their F1 to the website:
http://fmm-preview.co.za/dt_portfolio/mclaren-f1/ The clip that mclarenman shared in the Video thread the other day is also featured there. >8^) ER EDIT: Strange - it is now redirecting to the old website. Perhaps it was up for testing? Last edited by Peloton25; 11-26-2012 at 10:46 PM. |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
Got a note from two of the people at FMM - indeed their new website was just up for testing and Google managed to invade it without warning. They were rather surprised that I had seen it and wanted to know how.
It will be back in a short time but they asked me to remove the content for now from any place I had shared it so you might notice the second link is gone and I reverted back to my previous signature image for now. If you've reshared that content in any other places besides your hard drive perhaps you could also heed their request. >8^) ER |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
If not, I have them both to share eventually.
I came close to posting the shot with the ladies on GTspirit's FB wall which, if they had chosen to feature, would have been all over the place by now. >8^) ER |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
An article about Dean Wills' racetrack. Briefly mentions his old f1 http://www.news.com.au/travel/news/l...-1226533204151 The privately owned road in Kulnura, on the Central Coast, is a 5.1km Formula One-style track with 22 turns, described by one motorsport champion as the second-best track in the world. Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
#016 isn't the only F1 the Yue Shing Towing company has moved. Along with some other impressive pieces of rolling carbon fiber, there's a shot of #053 here and also one of the silver cars SPS had - either #063 or #064 - both images taken back in 2007.
